The Abandoned

The Abandoned

    Once there were 4 kids, all 14. One day, they decided to go to a museum full of sort of junkyard items, things you'd find somewhere abandoned. They first looked indoors, and then went outdoors to the sheds and weird old rides and such. Once they were done looking, they went to leave, only to discover that they were locked out. It wasn't closing time yet, it was still bright as day. They had arrived in the morning, and it was only 1 PM. Two of them repeatedly tried to unlock the gate, yet it never worked. The other two went back to where you could go back indoors, it was locked as well. They tried to pound on the door for at least 10 minutes, yet no one ever arrived. Eventually, Sallie, one of two girls, found a phone with a number beneath it, that apparently led to the front desk. She dialed the number and heard the following message, that sounded like a woman:

      "Welcome to the Museum of Wonders!" the lady on the other end said, cheerfully. "You have dialed this number for one of two reasons. If you dialed because you thought it would be funny or you were curious, hang up now. If you dialed for any other reason, keep listening. Go to shed #6, you'll find what you need there. This is your one call, if you want to make another you'll either have to find the code to use this again or find the other phone. It is currently 2:03 PM. Have a great time!"

      Sallie shuddered, and then told the others what she just heard. They raced over to shed #6, expecting it to be locked, as the sign on the door said not to enter. The sign read:

Do Not Enter. Needs Repairs. 

     Yet, they turned the knob, and stepped inside. It appeared to be an old bakery or candy shop. They stayed there for hours, trying to figure out what on earth they were supposed to do. Eventually, they got hungry, and began to eat some of the candy. Sallie had an odd feeling, and found an old receipt and pen and wrote down the following:

We called the number by the phone in the abandoned classroom. A woman answered. From the front desk. There was no woman at the front desk. She answered at 2:03 PM. 

     Three days later, police entered the museum. When the walked in, they discovered the man at the front desk stabbed. When they walked into shed #6 they discovered all 4 kids dead, from poisoning, from the candy. They also saw Sallie's note. They learned that no woman had ever worked at the museum.
